Build up the Oniikei Style

First, you need to understand how is it composed.

There is a deep connection between Oneekei (same style but for girls, which appeared first) and Oniikei style, so there is also a connection between their features, too.

Please keep in mind three things:


1. TUNE. Main colors are black and light brown. You can use other colors too, but this is the main scheme. So, maybe you will have to change or maybe add some stuff to what's in your wardrobe.

2. COOL & WILD, but in the end, a pretty boy. Tendencies show that nowadays Oniikei style is changing and there is only a weak line between "beautiful Gorgeous-Kei" and wild Oniikei style. So you will want to keep it cool, like a surfer, but in the end you will try to look beautiful and young, taking care of your hair and skin. You don't have to be afraid of this. You can see the result everywhere in Japan. You will be cool.

3. THE ULTIMATE RULES. Oniikei appeared in 2003, after the Oneekei. Oniikei were the guys who used to hang out with Oneekei. But later, celebrities and TV hosts started to go on with Oniikei style and important features appeared. So, to be Oniikei, use Leather Boots, Silver Accesories and Miscellaneous Items. If you don't use them, there is no way you are Oniikei. Also Sunglasses, Down Jackets and Suits are used sometimes.
